Awesome Angling (New Quay)
The Dunbar Castle II departs for 2 and 4 hour fishing trips from the main pier of the picturesque village of New Quay. The experienced skipper and crew will answer all your questions about the species and methods of fishing. Rod tackle and bait are supplied free of charge on board. You will be fishing in one of the most vibrant wildlife areas in the UK, keep what you catch or catch and release. You are sure to receive a warm welcome on board Dunbar Castle 2, just read our reviews.
Corn Exchange Gallery
A new exhibition each week right in the centre of Cardigan. This is a showcase for local art and craft. Here you will find unique creations and gifts all handcrafted – individual items for yourself or as a gift to say thank you or happy birthday. Free entry.
Cardigan Guildhall Market
More than 20 stalls under cover in a Grade II listed heritage building many offering local produce including food, household goods, crafts, IT, hairdressing, souvenirs, computer games, greetings cards and plenty more.
Rhosygilwen provides a stunning venue for a variety of music, arts and culture events in North Pembrokeshire. Concerts and performances take place in the Oak Hall, or occasionally outdoors in the grounds of the estate during summer. Over the years these have included classical, opera, folk, jazz and world music as well as dance, poetry and literary events.

Make it in Wales @ Stiwdio 3
For three years Make it in Wales ran craft workshops led by talented designer-makers in various venues across Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. They converted to a Community Interest Company in December 2018 and opened Stiwdio 3, their high street home in Cardigan. Make it in Wales @ Stiwdio 3 is a community space offering a range of craft activities as well as a café, gallery and retail corner. A place where people can meet, eat, make and create.
A Bay to Remember Wildlife Boat Trips
Dolphins, seals and a variety of bird life, together with a stunningly beautiful coastline and spectacular sea caves all add together to make Cardigan Bay truly “A Bay to Remember”. Our fully guided marine tours offer a safe and exhilarating experience suitable for all ages, using a modern purpose built vessel. 1-1.5 hour trips exploring Cardigan Island, Mwnt, Cemaes Head and Ceibwr Bay are a firm family favourite and are available all year round, with offshore trips exploring deeper waters in search of other dolphin species, whales and gannets also available during the summer months.

Fila Sioraidd cain, wedi'i lleoli yn nyffryn coediog Aeron. Mae'r ystad hunangynhaliol hon heb ei newid ers dros 200 mlynedd, yn cynnwys fferm, gerddi muriog a llyn. Dyluniwyd ac adeiladwyd y tŷ gan John Nash ym 1796. Mae gan y gerddi muriog yn Llanerchaeron, a oedd yn wreiddiol yn hive technoleg uchel o ddiwydiant Sioraidd, deimlad llawer rhamantaidd a breuddwydiol amdanynt heddiw.
Visit the studio of David Wilson, an artist and printmaker who creates beautiful original landscapes, still-lifes, surreal compositions and exciting abstracts. He paints in a range of mediums: oil, acrylic, water-colour and ink, while his printmaking is mainly etchings, linocuts and monoprints. Reproductions and postcards of his work are also available from the studio.
A little gem of an Art and Craft gallery featuring work from Cardigan Bay artists. Stop by on your way to Poppit Sands and check out the fabulous variety of art, ceramics and crafts on display. Take a stroll through St Dogmaels and explore the Abbey Cafe, (set in grounds of a medieval Abbey) the Mill and millpond and the award-winning Tuesday farmer's Market at the same time!
The Teifi gorge is one of the best examples of tidal gorge in the whole country and offers a safe and awe inspiring location for your whole family to try a fun new sport. Canoeing in the gorge is a stunning adventure in the silent and untouched Teifi gorge. The river is very slow, flat water for most of the journey and there are a set of gentle rapids which you can run at the end of the trip.
Mwldan is a vibrant arts and entertainment complex situation in the centre of Cardigan. With three fully digital screens we are Wales’ only truly independent multiplex. We also offer a range of facilities suitable for hire for conferences, meetings, classes and performances, plus a bar and cafe. Theatr Mwldan is a community enterprise, a company owned and managed by the community that it serves and offering performances of drama, music, dance, film, literature, opera, visual and applied arts.

New Quay Honey Farm
The magical world of the bee is revealed to visitors to new Quay Honey Farm,set in an old chapel on a farm just south of new Quay. The attraction includes a fascinating exhibition showing bees working in a variety of habitats, a shop selling honey produced by the farms hives, mead made on the farm, beeswax products and honey beer and offering mead and honey tastings, a tearoom and a picnic area. There is also a purpose built meadery explaining the importance of mead in welsh history and poetry and showing how mead is made.
Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips (New Quay)
With more than sixty years experience 'Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips' offer fun, educational tours for all ages, 1 and 2 hour trips along the Ceredigion coast from New Quay to Llangrannog on the biggest boats sailing out of New Quay with part sheltered decks, cushioned seating and a W/C (on 2 Hr). Trained skippers follow the code of conduct to avoid disturbing the dolphins, while 'Sea Watch' survey and photograph them. Enjoy an unrivalled experience from start to finish. Terry and Rose Barter moved from Bristol in 1995 to a run down house in a bare field. Since then they have patiently transformed the 2.5 acres into a fabulous Sculpture Garden described by visitors as "a magical mystery tour". Visitors to Sculpture Heaven can visit the workshops and see how the sculptures are made. There is a studio/gallery displaying the finished work of Terry, Rose, Jon Barnes (a sculptor inspired by Classical art) and Paul Jenkins (who specialises in exquisite wildlife sculpture) as well as the garden where the sculptures are displayed in a variety of settings.

Cardigan Bay Watersports
Choose from dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking in New Quay’s picturesque bay. Powerboat training also provided. Individuals, families and groups catered for. We are RYA registered and AALA licenced. All sessions led by qualified instructors. Wetsuits, bouyancy aids and safety cover included. Vale of Rheidol Railway
The Vale of Rheidol Railway recreates the Edwardian Spirit of Adventure as it follows the twists and turns of the stunning Rheidol Valley. Your steam hauled journey takes you through ancient woodlands and rugged mountain scenery as the train climbs from the coast at Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge in the Cambrian Mountains. The railway has been delighting passengers for generations. Birds of prey, such as Red Kite and Buzzards, can be seen soaring above the valley floor and breathtaking views enjoyed by all.

Dyfed Shire Horse Farm
Meet our Shire horses, Balwen sheep, Welsh pigs, donkeys, llamas and small animals. We have a daily timetable of activities: new sheep racing, horse harnessing demonstrations, horse and cart rides, tractor and trailer tour. Bird of Prey (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and farriery demonstrations throughout summer holidays. Let the kids loose on the outdoor play areas, crazy golf, new go cart track and the sand shed.

Custom House Shop and Gallery
Cardigan’s original Custom House is situated in the old part of town near the castle walls. Historically it played a necessary role in Cardigan’s industry and today it has a modern relevance in supporting Cardigan’s cultural development.
Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort
