Dre-fach Felindre was once the centre of a thriving industry. Shirts,shawls,blankets and socks were made here and sold in the surrounding markets, clothing the workers of Wales and exported around the world. The museum tells the story of an industry that dominated west Wales and served the industrial nations. As well as telling a facinating story, the Museum supports the production of fabrics in traditional Welsh patterns by a working mill, which can be seen in operation at the Museum.

The magical world of the bee is revealed to visitors to new Quay Honey Farm,set in an old chapel on a farm just south of new Quay. The attraction includes a fascinating exhibition showing bees working in a variety of habitats, a shop selling honey produced by the farms hives, mead made on the farm, beeswax products and honey beer and offering mead and honey tastings, a tearoom and a picnic area. There is also a purpose built meadery explaining the importance of mead in welsh history and poetry and showing how mead is made.
